Can a 195/50/r15 tire fit into a 2002 Honda Accord?
I have 97 civic I sold but I have this 195/50/r15 tires with rims would it for my new 2002 accord
It'll fit, but it isn't safe. Too heavy a car, too small a tire.
195/65-15 is the OEM sized tires for your base model 2002 Accord. The use of a tire with a drastically shorter sidewall aspect ratio would not be safe. A 195/50-15 size tire would not provide sufficient load carrying capability necessary to handle the weight of the Accord. Plus, your speedometer would no longer be in calibration and your ride comfort would resemble that of a brick wagon.
- Punctured tire replacement - can I replace only 1 tire - is it safe to replace the PUNCTURED tire only? My 2005 Honda Pilot rear left tire was punctured near the threshhold (ie - sidewall), but still usable. Thus the tire dealer patched it only. Should I replace that punctured tire only? Or should I replace the 2 tires on the same axle? Or even buy a whole set of 4 tires? I'm concerned about safety, and thus your best advice is very appreciated.
- Will a 1999 Honda Accord engine fit into a 1997 accord? I found a 1999 engine for an accord. I just need to know does it fit a 1997. Or any other make or model
- Can a 16.L engine fit into a 1998 Honda Civic LX? (before doing engine swap)? I had an blown motor on my 1998 Honda Civic LX, I have new spark plugs, distributor cap and some other items, however, since the old spark plugs happened to be melted as well, I have no option other to do a engine swap. I've been doing some research, and it seems like I only have the 1.6L engine as a option. By the way, the blown motor is a D16Y8, and is automatic.
- Can I put sized 195/65R15 tires on the front of my 2000 honda accord lx coupe V6 if the back tires are 205? I need new tires and I already have a 195 and it would save me so much more money if I could just go buy another one, but I don't want to do it if it's going to be detrimental to my car overall. The back tires are still the stock size, I'd only be changing the front tires.
