Will my car's lifespan prolong if I used it only once every 2 or 3 days?
I have a 2013 Honda Fit and I used it only once every 2 to 3 days for a distance of only 5 to 6 miles…
It's good to take out on freeway and get it going at max speed limit for a while, it blows out the carbon build up. Do this at least once a month… Coddling a car can actually hinder it.Hondas are designed to go 200,000 miles before they start to break down. You picked a good car! Always let it warm up before you drive it, at least 10 minutes.regular oil-changes, always check fluid levels. But no, no need to baby it… Trust me, you will have it paid off and it will go out of style LONG before it breaks down lol.
- What results will I notice once i replace the o2 sensor in my car? My car is a 2003 Honda Element Ed awd auto. I've had a check engine light on my dash for a while and I brought it to a mechanic for a diagonistic scan and it comes out to be a bad o2 sensor. My inspection is due in a few months and I'll have to get it replaced But my question is what symptoms will having a bad o2 sensor do to my car? Will it affect off the line acceleration, will it affect acceleration at any speed? Will it affect my cars gas mileage and top speed?
- Punctured tire replacement - can I replace only 1 tire - is it safe to replace the PUNCTURED tire only? My 2005 Honda Pilot rear left tire was punctured near the threshhold (ie - sidewall), but still usable. Thus the tire dealer patched it only. Should I replace that punctured tire only? Or should I replace the 2 tires on the same axle? Or even buy a whole set of 4 tires? I'm concerned about safety, and thus your best advice is very appreciated.
- Is it ok to drive my car once the check engine light turns off? I drive a 2016 Honda Civic. A couple days ago my Check engine Light turned on. It turned off today. I got it checked and the code was P0326, a knock sensor problem. Should I get it checked even though the light turned off?
- I've financed a car and put 1,000 down, it's been 2 days and the dealer still Looking a for a bank but I've been approved already? So I've put 1,000 down for my car at Honda and everyday passes but still same response from the dealer "still working on a approval" but they have my deposit and they already approved me. Is this even legal, Can they hold my deposit and not give me the car. Would I lose my deposit if I'm not approved?
