The two most notorious causes for Honda in the same era were the Ignition switch and the Main relay. You'll have to do some reading/testing and see which one would be the cause:

- How come my atv won't electric start but will crank if I push start it? 2006 Honda trx. Doesn't have a pull rope only electric start. The starter motor turns over the engine but just won't start but I'll push it down the yard with it in gear and it will fire right up. I'm so confused by this.

The check engine light is on so I took it to advance auto and they said that I've got a bad transmission sensor and a bad O2 sensor. Would the transmission sensor cause the car to shut off while driving down the road?
- My 2000 Honda Civic EX shuts off when driving it, sometimes it'll start back up but sometimes it won't I got my tail pipe and muffler replaced. I also got the catalytic converter and MAP sensor replaced in my car as well. My dad believes it could be the fuel filter, but we have no clue what it really is.
