How much would it cost to ensure a 2001 mustang v6 for me? I'm 17?
My parents are tired of me driving around in their cars so they are going to get me a car so i stop using theirs. The thing is they only gave me 2000$ to work with since this is just to get me from point a to point b. I was looking up cars and every car in that price range was atrocious and the only one i actually enjoyed was the mustang. But i'm wondering how much would that cost to ensure. I live in florida btw. Its also red, witch i also read brings up the ensurence. Would you recommend any other cars? No hondas or toyotas
Why don't you call you parent insurance agent and find out the differences in costs - it depends on zipcode, usage, GPA, driving record, etc. It may be a Mustang costs you most of the 2000 per year in insurance depending on what coverage you select.
Personally a Ford Focus 5spd (early 2000's) would be a good bet for economy and reliability and insurability.
Any car you get will cost a ton to insure. You're a kid.
$1500 to 1900 per year
Get something cheap and good on gas. Your gas expense will be very high with a Mustang.
Anytime you're young and you buy a sportscar of any kind, insurance is gonna be high. The fact that its a 6 cylinder instead of a 8 cylinder will help a little but not much. I was 19years old in the late 90, s with a Mustang GT and insurance costed me $175 per month for full coverage. That was even with me being listed on my parents policy instead of on my own policy. It will bring the cost down slightly if you're on their policy, you have good grades and don't get full coverage insurance. The main things you need is liability, uninsured motorists and medical payments. It will be drastically reduced by getting just this type of coverage vs full coverage.Full coverage includes everything above plus fire and theft(comprehensive)and collision.Collision covers your vehicle if the accident is your fault or you run into something.Comprehensive covers your vehicle in case its stolen or catches on fire. You're allowed to get whichever types of coverage you want out of the coverages listed above.
- Would it be stupid to get a 2005 mustang? It has 70-90k miles, i can't remember the exact number. I'm 20 years old and it would be my first car if that sways your decision in any way. I have a 7-7.5k budget I have been looking at toyotas and hondas, but i hate the way most of them look. I figured not everyone likes their first car; it just needs to be practical. Buying my first car is a big decision, to me, and i'm torn
- About how much would it cost to repair the front bumper on my car? The right side of the bumper on my 2003 Honda Pilot was hit today and it's a bit dented in along with what appears to be scratches perhaps. Like, they're these streaks of white paint on them that I think might also be scratches. Would I have to replace the entire bumper or can that be fixed by itself?
- Insurance cost on a 6 cylinder 2015 mustang? My parents are willing to help me buy a new car and I really want the 5.0 but The insurance would probably be more than the monthly payments for the car itself. I'm 17 btw I don't want to hear( Get a used car, Buy a honda, Etc) I don't want anything else So Please don't answer with anything else other than what my question pertains to please Would it be cheaper if I got the eco boost 4 cyclinder It the V6? Any input would be great thanks!
- How much would it cost to replace an engine on a 97 Honda civic? I'm in deep ****, I bought a civic for 2gs and it has to many problems. I've spent around 500 plus dollars on the car. I think the best thing to do is get a new engine
