How to get better mileage in my honda?
My honda city invtec bought in 2012 gives very low mileage.usage is very less. And it hadnt even touched 10k miles yet.
i change oil regularly… Only the honda shop.
what else can i do to get the best mileage.
What do you consider bad mileage? Is it a manual or automatic transmission… Short trips or highway driving? Hard for us to give opinions without that info. And, have you asked the dealer what mileage you should expect-told them that you are getting bad mpg?
Change your driving habits, and learn to communicate in the English language.
Stop driving
Simple things, just having A/C on will kill 5-10 mpg out of a small engine like that, heated seats and blower on? Another 5, windows down? Another 5. They only use the absolute best results to report to the EPA.
In cold weather my honda accord use around 3 more liters per 100 km than it would use in summer.
- How do i get the best mileage for my 2013 honda fit? I see most consumer report review on it and they get around 30-31 mpg and i get 24.4? Would it be just needing to replace some car parts on the interior such as the air filter? I have just gotten my tire replaced and upsize so i hope it will make a little difference

- Why does my car get unusually good gas mileage than normal? It's a 98 Honda Civic. I do 2 hours of Combined city and highway driving for 5-6 days a week. I kinda have a heavy foot, the rims are 1" bigger than stock and the car is due for it's next tune up this coming Monday. The car is rated at 28mpg combined when it was shiny back in 1998, and when I calculated mine i got 32 mpg combined, my calculation isn't wrong either as i have an mpg calculator
