How to replace ball joints on a 2001 honda prelude?
The link below will give you instructions on how to replace the lower ball joints. If you don't own a ball joint removal tool, you'll have to rent one from Autozone. Its free to rent the tool, but you do have to leave a deposit. When you return the tool, you'll get your deposit back. As far as the upper ball joints go, they can't be removed from the upper control arm. You have to purchase the upper control arm with the included balljoint on the front and rear of the car. If the dust boot is bad, you can replace it separately without having to buy the whole control arm, if the balljoint isn't worn. Here's the link I mentioned.
