I'm considering a BMW 328xi coupe 07'?

I'm 19. I'm looking around on websites and the cheapest one in my area is for 6k. The ones i was more trustowrthy of are 9k. I will have the money to pay for it since i will have a ton of left over money from school since I'm commuting. So instead of paying 12k to stay on campus, id rather put that towards a car. Anyways, the ones i see do have like 90k-110k miles on it. Personally, i would take it to get inspected before putting a dime down. However, i do plan on replacing some of the parts in the following year anyways if i do get this car. I would like some polite responses about this. On one of them, i checked the car fax since it was free and it had no prior issues, just regular maintenance and some of the parts have been replaced. The most common one i saw was the wipers and next was the air filter. Heres the link for the car. Please let me know what you think.

Added (1). P.S- I've spoken to some family and friends who owned a bmw and they all said it runs well so long as you maintain it. My mom has been talking with me about getting a honda. My dad had his mercedes since 03 and bought it new. Never had any major issues other than cosmetics and he doesn't take the "best" care of it. My mom used to have a used honda which she paid 5k for back in the 90s. But it broke down more times than we can recall and she invested more money than it was worth into repairing it.

Added (2). basically, i noticed that regardless of what car someone gets, it all boils down to how well a car is maintained. I do plan on getting a manual so if the BMW needs basic repairs, i can do them myself including oil changes which would save me hundreds. I know obviously it would be pricier so if all else fails, ill just get a 500-1000 hooptie and call it a day lol. But id love some feedback.

Bad idea

  • I'm considering buying a 03 Honda cb 919? The guys is moving and needs it gone. He's letting it go for $2,000. The bike has 56k miles, And that concerns me. He said he bought it at 50k. Is it worth buying?
  • Which car is better 2016 Honda Civic coupe or 2016 Hyundai Genesis coupe? I'm looking for a new car and these two are the only cars that fit my budge as a sporty car. The Honda Civic has a v cylinder engin and Genesis has v6. Civic offers Apple car play whereas Genesis does not… They both have many pors and cons to them and I can't decide which one is better and worthwhile… Please I need opinions!
  • Infinit g35 coupe or honda civic si coupe? Hello i'm from california and going to turn 21 in july and wanted to buy my first car. I'm deciding between the infiniti g35 coupe (05-07) model or the honda civic si coupe (07-09) model. I want the g35 because everyone has a honda civic si and I want to stand out but I want the honda civic si because it is very reliable which is probably why alot of people have one. Will the infiniti last me enough to enjoy it or will it just be a waste of money… Please help
  • Honda' website says the Civic Coupe and Sedan share the same wheelbase. Why is this? I wanted to buy a real coupe? I wanted to buy a real coupe but it seems like Honda is just ripping us off. They take the Civic sedan and turn it into a coupe. I don't know how they do this but they share the same wheelbase. I thought the coop would be much Smaller with a shorter lenght overall. With a smaller wheelbase to give you more of that sporty feel but I feel like I'm just driving a damn sedan. I don't want a sedan! Does this apply for all cars
