Are Honda motorcycles better for tall people?
This probably seems like a strange question, but I rode a Honda CBR250 and it fit me perfect. I sat on a Ninja 250 and my legs were so cramped I didn't think I could safely ride it (I'm 6'4"). I sat on a Yamaha YZF250 and it was cramped. There's also a guy on youtube named "6foot4honda". He obviously is tall and rides a Honda.
Are honda bikes better suited for tall people for some reason? Or is my experience just coincidental?

Are honda bikes better suited for tall people for some reason? Or is my experience just coincidental? I want to say it's just coincidence, but that's just a guess and the more I think about it the less confidence I have in that guess. It could well be a deliberate strategy on Honda's part to make their bikes seem 'roomy', or bigger than they actually are.
In the last 2-3 years, Honda has mounted an aggressive strategy to dominate the 'trainer' market. A lot of mfgrs are making new trainer bikes but Honda is out ih front, and not just in the 250/300cc class but up to 700cc. One design goal for a product like this is that a newbie climbs on one in the showroom and feels 'at home' right away. Perhaps their worried about people being afraid of 'growing out of' a small bike. This may affect where their designers decide to put the footpegs and handlebars.'
As I say, I'm just guessing. Coincidence. Honda does seem to have a knack with ergonomics, where they design bikes that fit a broad range of people. If you were looking for a manufacturer that seems to err on the larger side most of KTM's range are on the large side. Try riding a Honda Grom and you may rethink your statement.
I'm an inch shorter than you are the nicest bike I ever rode as far as fitment was a BMW F800GS. Too bad the engine vibration from the parallel twin at highway speeds was so annoying Head on down to a Honda shop and sit on all the bikes. I haven't noticed Hondas fitting any better or worse in general than any other bike, but YMMV Try sitting on some of the dual sports. Some of those are high off the ground. It depends on the model, not a brand

- Will the honda xr650l be too tall for me? I'm really interesting in the xr650l dualsport but i'm 5'8" without any kind of boots with a 30-31" inseam. I know the seat height for this bike is 37. Would it be too tall to the point it would be unsafe for me to ride?
- Why are those Harley Davidson motorcycles very popular among old people? Usually, I see young people riding Honda or Kawasaki kind of motorcycles. But there are many old men who ride Harley Davidson stuff. Why do those young people prefer those fast bikes and old people like those Harley Davidson stuff?
- What's a good adventure type motor bike for 2 people to ride together, HONDA's nc700x? Anything better? Purpose is to ride around the bay area in san fran and take adventure rides to places like CANADA or Mexico (maybe)…
- Recommend sports bike for 5 foot 3 inch tall person? I will be 16 years of age soon, and currently race with a crf100 (although it is much too small at this point haha) and out and about I drive a crf230l with no trouble. I'm 5'3" and weigh 135lbs. I'm looking into getting a sports bike, and am considering a ninja 300, or a honda cb500f. The ninja 300 seems ideal, but I worry it is too small, and won't do much more than 130kmph. What would you recommend?
