Best first Motorcyle for teenage girl 5'1?
I'm looking at getting my first motorcycle soon, preferably a sports, I don't like the look of cruisers so please don't suggest any to me. I'm 5'1, and 120 pounds. And live in a city with lots of wind and hills. I've been looking at a typical ninja 250, because i've wanted one since I was a kid, and found out that they're actually really good bikes for beginner riders. Or maybe a Honda CBR 250. I'll mainly be using it for commuting to work everyday which is about 20 minutes away and around the city. Also when I gain my confidence i'd like to take small roadtrips on the freeway. Which bikes are suitable for me?
Added (1). Btw, i'm turning 18 y/o in a month.
Yes, the Ninja 250 is a good bike for a beginner, IF you can fit properly on it. You need a bike that you can straddle with both feet on the ground, and I'm not certain that at 5'1", it would fit you.
But before you think about buying your own bike, I strongly recommend you take a motorcycle safety course to learn the basics of SAFE motorcycle riding. You can find classes near where you live on this web site… http://www.msf-usa.org
If you want a bike you can ride on the freeways and in town then you need something larger than a 250. The New for 2015 Honda CB500X would make you a fantastic bike. Small and light enough to ride around town but large enough with enough power for freeway riding in the wind. http://powersports.honda.com/...b500x.aspx
The CBR500R is another great choice.

Either one is fine. If you want new, the CB 300 will be a bit better on the freeway.
Go down to the Honda and Kawasaki dealers and sit on CBR's and Ninja's.
Can you sit on a sporty bike with your feet on the ground?
1. Yes. Get your sporty bike.
2. No. Tough ****. You can ride a cruiser, or you can drive a cage.
Notes: I ride a 245 pound Vespa LX150 on the freeways of Los Angeles, and Interstates to the Sierras and Mojave, altho' I admit it is marginal with it's 65 mph top speed. A 330 pound 250cc cruiser does over 75 mph, a 370+ pound Ninja 250R can do 100 mph, if you want a 430 pound 500 it can do over 120 mph. For city, you can get a 266 pound SYM Wolf 150 -- a LOT easier to ride, and it can easily top 65 mph, more likely 70.
My cousin, she is 5'1 and she sat on my little Ninja 300, today. Guess what? She can barely get her right foot to touch the ground, with a high heel. You can lower the seat height and see what happen.
Ninja 250 and 300 have a same seat height.
In most states the Law is that you must be able to put both feet flat on the ground while astride the bike! At 5'1" there's no sport bike that is going to fit you! Sorry but you are either going to have to deal with the looks of a cruiser or forget about riding a motorcycle!
- Is it a good idea to buy a car from a girl that you have crush on? Its a used 95 honda she paid 2,000$ for it. I told her i will give her 1,000 for it. She said she can't do that so i then offered her 3,000 for it then she just looked confused i'm not sure if that is good or bad. So i finally offered her 4,000 for it and she just said that she will think about it.

- Is 2004 Hyundai Sonata V6 too much for first time teenage driver? I recently bought 2004 Hyundai Sonata for $3000 (with my money that I earned by working at little caesars) It is my first car and is my first year driving (yes, I did all driver's training and such). All my friends have small cars like Toyota Corolla, VW Jetta, and Honda Civics. I'm aware that my car eats much more cars than my friends cars. Is my car way too much for me to handle? Should I sell my car and get a different one?
