NO
We call them core plugs. When water freezes, it expands. If water freezes inside your engine block, it can expand and crack the block, destroying the motor. Freeze plugs (or expansion plugs) will "pop out" and supposedly prevent this.
Why on earth would you expect water at the end of your camshafts?

That's a definite No Chance
- Should I get an Suzuki SV650 or a Honda CBR600 f4i? I'm a beginner rider and I was wondering which of these would best fit me for my first ride. I know one is a cruiser and one is a crotch rocket? So how much difference is there between the two? I'm 5'6 by the way if that affects anything.
- Why is coolant leaking from the ends of my top radiator hose on my 1999 honda civic? There isn't water leaking from anywhere else and it only seems to leak when the car has since cooled. It's never enough coolant for me to have to keep filling it up. I have changed the hose and it still seems to be leaking from the end seams. Any help is appreciated. d16y7 aluminum radiator 1.1 rad cap

I had a guy friend whose pretty built try to remove it but he almost pulled his should trying. I need to know if there's anything I can use to get it out. I also don't know if it's possibly cross threaded. It's a used car.
