Honda twinstar won't start?
So my bike was stolen. Two kids walked about a block away with it and a lady confronted them about it being stolen. Lucky for me. So they dropped it on its side and ran. After I got it back I can't see any visable damage. What could be the reason it will not start? This bike is old but has never had problems starting.
Could be a number of different reasons why it won't start-
if it layed in its side for a fairly long period of time fuel may have flooded the engine.
The kill-switch is in the Off position?
The battery cables got loosen from the drop?
If you have no mechanical skills find a shop or person to have a look-see, guessing over the internet is just that- guessing.
What Candid Chris said. Also check the spark plug wires. I've come from a day at work to find mine disconnected.
- My 1983 Honda nighthawk 650 won't start with the electric start? I recently replaced the ignition coils because the old ones were getting heat soaked and the bike would die, however now the bike won't start with the electric start it turns over fin and the starter sounds fine but it won't start occasionally it ll start when it's cold or try to but I've been having to bump start it in order to ride it. So what's making it do this? Could it be the kill switch? Or something else?
- I have a Honda HRX217 push mower. Backfired when trying to start it, now it won't start? It was running, then I shut it off to open and close a gate, and when I went to start it again there was a really loud backfire and now it won't start. It will sound like it's almost about to start but not. Then get progressively weaker each pull. I changed the spark plug and cleaned the air filter. Any ideas?

I did a compressin test, the pull start only gets the mower to 60psi but the drill gets the mower to 150psi. This mower does have a decompression vale where the ehaust opest about 1/8 of the way. I tore the ead off and checked and cleaned the valves. They don't stick open. Could there be an issue with the decompression valve? Or would it be the piston rings?
- How come my atv won't electric start but will crank if I push start it? 2006 Honda trx. Doesn't have a pull rope only electric start. The starter motor turns over the engine but just won't start but I'll push it down the yard with it in gear and it will fire right up. I'm so confused by this.
