The spring is compressed, but can't figure out how to get it off of the shock.
Compress the spring with a special tool.

I got mine from an auto parts store. They let me use them for free. All I had to do was leave a credit card number with them in case I didn't return them they would charge me for them.
I took them back a few days later and never got charged. I once had to do it and compressed the spring with straps

- What weight (kilograms) would I need for a Honda 350d rear shock absorber? So I can't find the specifications for the stock shocks and the ones I've got are clapped out and need replacing. I have measured the size of the shocks including the fixing sizes, but I'm not sure about the weight aspect, I'm looking to buy some aftermarket shocks to replace the originals. Any advice is welcomed
- Will a Atv rear shock work on a motorcycle as a rear shock? So I have a 1984 Honda vf700s, which has a shot 17.5" rear shock. I found this shock http://www.ebay.com/...1405356646 and I love the red spring i'm just curious if it would serve well as a bike shock. And If so would it be suitable in terms of riding.
- What size of bolts do I use to hold the battery on my 1998 honda cbr 600? - 1 I lost the bolts that connect my battery on my 1998 honda cbr and I don't remember what size they are
- I have a 98 honda cbr 600 f3? The bike will start and idle but when I start riding it will sputter, lose power and die. Also coolant will spray out of the overfill line on the top of the coolant and the bike will over heat. Does anyone know what is wrong with it?
