How to repair my Honda cb twister exhaust system?
Honda twister 2010 bought.
i was having problems in power delivery in my bike
After a lot of research i'm 100% sure that some blockage or some fault in my exhaust system is causing it. As back pressure is more so scavenging is not done properly.
when i showed it in an authorized service center they told me to put a new exhaust.(costs Rs 4500/-)
i wanted to know is there any way to repair or clean my bike exhaust or any other way? Do i have to put a new one?
and what are the future effects on the bike engine due to this problem?
Hi the exhaust is not likely to be the problem what is more likely is when it was new if it was not run in properly some one wrecked it. By being brutal with the running in and now the engine is useless.
- Does cb twister stopped coming in india? I went to agency of honda and ask for cb twister, they simply told me that company is not sending the bike… Is this true?
- Honda Twister gear pedal can be moved even with fingers? Gear shifting is continuous from 1st gear to 4th gear. It is not possible to put it in neutral with foot, even to start, I have to do it with fingers. What could be the problem sirs?
- I have a 1998 Honda CRV with 240 K miles. Needs $1200 of repair to pass inspection. Should i fix or buy a newer used Honda civic? Mike? I'm the original owner and have done a good job with oil changes etc. However, it needs 2 front control arms with ball joints and rear struts to pass inspection. I've also gone past my mileage on a second timing belt (first one done at 90K miles). Car body exterior and interior is in pretty good shape. Inside looks brand new. But repair cost at 1200 + timing belt ~500 =~1700 in repars. Is it time for a newer used auto.
- What type of exhaust gasket should I use when fitting new exhaust? I would like to install new exhaust system on my car and was wondering if I use the flat oval shape gasket or round conical gasket or both? I'll be installing a backbox and centre pipe. It's a 1998 Honda Civic.
