Wouldn't it be a better idea to borrow or rent a motorbike (assuming you have a suitable licence) and decide if you like it first? A 1000cc isn't an ideal first bike, I'd suggest starting with something smaller and then upgrade when you're ready.
Motorbikes are great, but they aren't always practical to have as your only vehicle. For example, grocery shopping, taking your family out for the day, driving to work in snow etc.
1000cc is a bit much for a newbie to handle. You might sell the 1000 on Craigslist and buy a 250 or a 500.
Oh definitely. A noob should always start out on a superbike that will do near 180 mph. Make sure you tape every adventure. You'll either twist the throttle too much and wheelie over backwards, or grab the brake in a panic situation and fly over the handle bars with the bike landing on your head.
- What type of truck should I get for my first? I'm 16 and live in Southern California. In and my parents want to get me a truck. My family is GM loyal because of what they did in WW2 for this country. I'm looking for like a Silverado or sierra. But I'm concerned about the insurance. Any suggestions. (Absolutely no Toyota, Honda or any other foreign pieces of junk.) Thank you.
- Dealer told me it was a Honda Certified pre-owned car, but I never received anything from Honda saying so? What should i do? The car now needs repairs and the dealer lied to me about the certification. Do I have any rights?
- Should I save up for car or stick with truck? Okay my family has 3 trucks, they gave me one that's usally sitting around. Excellent condition. Toyota tacoma 2003 4x4 with sr5. Only thing I hate is the mpg. I have a part time job and in high school as a sophomore. Should I start to save up for a car (mazda, scion, honda) with much better mpg or just stick with the truck? It gets about 15 mpg. I was looking to get a a car around 5k.
- Is it worth it to trade a 2003 Toyota Corolla almost 130k miles for a 2004+ Acura TL 90k-110k miles? This is my moms old car and she got the Honda Pilot, she gave it her old car to me as my first car, but I want to trade it for a nicer car but used Acura are expensive and every time I asked the sellers to trade my Corolla and says no. Do you think Acura owners don't like Toyota?
