Is a cb77 a good bike to begin on?

This is all theoretical, but I'm looking at bikes to begin riding on. Most of my money will be spent on college tuition since I recently found out I was accepted so if I do end up buying a bike it'll most likely be after I get my degree.
Other bikes I have a knack for are:
BMW 65/5 & 75/5
Honda cb750

I guess bikes between '60-'85

I guess bikes between '60-'85 Number 1- Shy away from the BMW R 65/5, the R 60/5 is a better Model and the R 75/5 is an okay bike.
Number 2- Unless you Really LOVE working on bikes an in-line-4 is not that great as a beginner-bike especially a 750.

For a few bucks more there's one bike that can be a good beginner bike that has power that isn't overwhelling, a Suzuki V-Strom 650. A CB77 is a good bike to start on… If you don't mind occasionally dropping your classic Honda. I would start on something cheap and already beat up a bit.
