Is a honda shadow a good motorcycle? - 1

It sounds cool.

All Hondas are good bikes.

Yes. Honda makes good quality motorcycles. If you're asking about a USED bike, then you'll have to guess about the previous owner's maintenance routine (if any) and hope for the best.

All if the Shadow models are great machines EXCEPT for the ACE [American Classic Edition] The ACE had a common crankpin just like a Harley and therefore LESS HP not to mention shaking like a paint mixer

  • Would a Honda Shadow Phantom 750 be a begginer motorcycle? OK. I'm 16 years old I've bought all the nessecary gear I got that idea of watching cyclecruza's squid videos and didn't want that to happen to me. Well because I shouldn't look up to my dad who rides a Harley 1200 who only wears a helment a t shirt and just jeans. I know not to go over the speed limit but all I need to know if thus good first bike.
  • What's a good starter motorcycle similar to the Honda Rebel? I'm 5'10, and weigh 150 pounds. I like the honda rebel, but i realize that it may be too small for me. I want a good looking, easy to ride, starter bike that has freeway capabilities.
  • What motorcycle will give me a similiar ride to my 750 Shadow but bigger? I learned to ride on a 2007 Honda Shadow VT750C2F and now I'm looking to go bigger. I love almost every detail about my Shadow; tire size, spokes, driveshaft, handling, width, engine look and feel etc. However, in my next bike I want a bigger gas tank, more cubic cenimeters (inches) and I want to sit a bit higher on the hog (pun intended). 6 speed would be nice but mostly I want the look, feel and reliability of my Shadow in an 1100cc+. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  • Bike guys. 92 Honda Shadow. 22,000 miles. Asking $1200. Good deal or not? I'm totally new to street bikes, although I've ridden dirtbikes a lot. Just looking for any insights on the bike itself (I've heard they're fun and reliable) and thoughts on the pricing. I'm not looking for websites or anything, I've already done some research. I'm looking for actual experience.
