Same problem! 2 vehicles! Nothing happeneds when i turn the key! No lights, radio, fuel pump, or crank?
I drive a 1977 Dodge b200 and it broke down yesterday due to an unrelated issue with the fuel pump i installed through a toggle switch. When i went to try to get it running later that night i got absolutely nothing when i turned the key. No headlights, dashlights, dome lights or anything. Brand new batery and i did several drop tests across the batery, starter relay, and the starter. I also ran the starter strait to the batery to make sure the engine would crank.
Earlier that morning i was working on my 1983 Honda magna (the motorcycle) I have a brand new starter relay, and a batery but when i hopped on the bike to go for a ride nothing happened. Again, no headlights, dashlights, fuel pump, Connections are great, also did a test on the batery.
I'm out of ideas!
The main fuse, or battery fuse may be blown… Or the ignition switch is bad.
What is the voltage drop from the chassis and engine grounds to the negative terminal? Sounds like poor connection or bad ground!

- Is the 1985 Honda CR 500 water pump gear shaft compatible with the 86-2001 Honda CR 500 water pump gear shaft? I have a 1985 CR 500 and the water pump gear shaft broke. It has been discontinued from Honda, and no one else has it. It is a metal gear. The one's for the 1986-2001 CR 500 are plastic. If I have to use plastic, I will. However, I prefer not to. If anyone knows where I can get the OEM 1985 Honda CR 500 gear shaft, I would forever be grateful.
- How to fix a problem with a 1995 Honda del sol, where the fuel pump only works sometimes? The fuel pump has been replaced but only gets power sometimes. It's not the regulator and not the fuse. They have power going to the fuse but not to the fuel pump.
- Is anti lock brake pump for automatic and manuel trans the same? 2005 honda accord ex v6 3.0 manuel If I buy anti lock brake pump for accord ex v6 automatic, would it fit on the same car but manuel transmission?
- Does the fuel tank size have any impact on fuel economy between vehicles? For example the new Honda Accords have a 56 Litre tank while the CRV has a 53 L and the Rogue a 55 L. Now the 2 latters are compact crossovers and are arguably bigger in size than the Accord, so would that mean they are using up more gas? Would that mean its better to buy the Accord if we were going based on just gas mileage?
