Should i be driving a motorcycle?
I'm 16 years old nearing 17, and i'm very interested in driving a motorcycle. If we want to get specific, a honda cbr240r is something that i have had my eye on. I was wondering if someone could give me their opinion in wether i should eide or not.
I live up in vermont where there's bassicly two seasons, really long winters and really ling summers.
I have no experience at all riding, however my neighbor is an extreme motorcyclist and iv learned quite a bit from him
Pricing is not an issue
EEC 300cc road legal quad bike for sale
I rode bike for years, but, I would never allow my teenage son to own one
why? Because kids will be kids
You don't drive a motorcycle, you ride a motorcycle.
Step 1 is to go take the Motorcycle Safety Foundation safe riders course. http://www.msf-usa.org/
Not sure about Vermont, but in many states you can't get the MC endorsement on your drivers license without taking the class. The course will supply the motorcycles. You will quickly figure out if you like riding or not taking the class.
Step 2 get the MC endorsement on your drivers license, which is usually a matter of paying a fee once you've successfully passed the class.
Step 3 get the motorcycle.
For anyone who says you ride a motorcycle, not drive -- look at your *DRIVE*ers license.
Ride Your Own Ride. If you want to ride, do it.
Snow and ice on the ground = less fun for motorcycle.
o Should you be riding or driving at all?
Do you have somewhere to go? I don't.
You should take a motorcycle safety class in your town, after you take it you can get your license and decide if you should get one after. But seriously, take a class first, they are cheap if you are under 21 and they are really fun.
If you need advice from random people on the internet then the answer has to be no, do not do it.
I assume you have lessons already from your neighbour there. So get one bike that is easy to ride for a beginner whenever you are ready.
ride safely and do NOT be a stupid person who rides a bike…
you will be alright.
- You say do I need to keep the Bell helmet the renter wore when he slipped, and crashed my motorcycle? My motorcycle is the 2008? Honda CBR600RR super sport motorcycle. The Cofounder of Riders- Share.Com compensated me the full amount of the motorcycle repairer's written damage estimate. I was also fully compensated for the helmet, which the renter wore when he crashed my motorcycle and my helmet.
- Which motorcycle should I get for a beginner? I'm planning on buying a motorcycle because I'm turning 16 soon and I need a vehicle to commute to and from school. Which bike is reliable for a starter? Honda CBR 125CC, Yamaha R125, Ninja Kawasaki 250R or other bikes? I'm also in a budget and looking for a bike around $2,000 and will not go over $2500. I'm also 5'11 and 155 LBS.
- What level should my motorcycle fuel floats be at? I have a 96 Honda rebel CMXC250 with twin carbs that started leaking gasoline. What level should I adjust the fuel floats to? Please answer my question instead of telling me what else you think is wrong with my bike. And no "google it" answers. Thats obvious but doesn't always work, if you don't know the answer then don't say anything.
- Should I insure my motorcycle in my name with a permit because I'm under 16? So I got a 2012 Honda CBR250R but its brand new. When I try to quote the bike online it doesn't let me submit because I'm 15 and like 10 months old. I'll be 16 in less that 2 months. So I was wondering if I can just insure it in my dads name and ride on my permit until I turn 16. So what should I do?
