Should I buy this honda hawk gt650?
I'm looking into buying my 2nd bike used (started on a Suzuki gz250) and what i'm basically asking is if you think this is a good deal ( obviously i don't expect anyone to know the mechanical condition of it but one thing i noticed was some blueing/discoloration at the exhaust headers) http://brunswick.craigslist.org/mcy/5231748335.html
Bluing of chrome pipes at the headers is very common on many bikes. I would be more worried about the funny colour of the front discs. Looks like rust.
- Should I buy a honda prelude (4th gen)? I want a honda prelude 4th gen automatic & as my daily car. Would it be a great car? Also I want to know if anything is wrong with the 4th gens. Please let me know anything about the h22 engine.
- Should I buy this bike? 1989 Honda Hawk? Just got my endorsement, looking for a first bike. I stopped by a dealership (for fun really, I've been looking on Craigslist mostly). There's a 1989 Honda Hawk, nearly spotless with a few chips here and there. Dealership is asking $1,600 and I noticed they ve come down from $2000 since last month. I was looking to stay under $1500 and buy an injected bike but I really like this one. Thoughts? Also, is there a possibility of getting the price to $1400? Could I haggle successfully.
- I have a 1983 night hawk 650 and I want to change the clutch/brake levers? I have a 1983 honda night hawk 650 and I want to change the clutch/brake levers. Are there any modern short style levers that would fit? Like the little two finger levers that you see on modern sport bikes and stunt bikes?
- I have a 1998 Honda CRV with 240 K miles. Needs $1200 of repair to pass inspection. Should i fix or buy a newer used Honda civic? Mike? I'm the original owner and have done a good job with oil changes etc. However, it needs 2 front control arms with ball joints and rear struts to pass inspection. I've also gone past my mileage on a second timing belt (first one done at 90K miles). Car body exterior and interior is in pretty good shape. Inside looks brand new. But repair cost at 1200 + timing belt ~500 =~1700 in repars. Is it time for a newer used auto.
