Should I get a motorcycle instead of a truck?
I'm 16 and we have been looking at trucks so I can get back and to from school and work. I made agreement with my mom that I ll make payment and she ll do insurance. The problem is every quote we get is around $2500 semiannually. The motorcycle I'm looking at is a 2016 Honda crf250l. Street legal dirt bike. I live in GA so its usually not to cold… I've had a dirt bike before so I know how to ride… And insurance on it for me would be $600 annually. Plus its 73 mpg. Only downfall is when it rains… So should I?

Yea you might wanna get like a older truck cause with the bike what happeneds when there's downpouring and you have to go somewhere. Nope. Well, only if you don't mind donating your organs to someone who needs them. I've driven in Georgia, some of the most awful drivers on the road in that region. No way would I put my life at risk on a motorcycle. I think it's a good idea for you to get a truck because…
1) you're more protected than riding motorcycle
2) if you buy a truck and help out chores for your mom, she may let you slide some missed payment and she may step in to pay it for you
3) you can make a bed on truck when you take a girl out to drive(star gaze and make out maybe?) Ride your bicycle to work and school in the rain.
That should help in your decision.
It's not fun walking around soaking wet. Watch this video I think it will make the decision for you Yes Buy the bike, get some rain gear. Get the bike

- What type of truck should I get for my first? I'm 16 and live in Southern California. In and my parents want to get me a truck. My family is GM loyal because of what they did in WW2 for this country. I'm looking for like a Silverado or sierra. But I'm concerned about the insurance. Any suggestions. (Absolutely no Toyota, Honda or any other foreign pieces of junk.) Thank you.
- Should I save up for car or stick with truck? Okay my family has 3 trucks, they gave me one that's usally sitting around. Excellent condition. Toyota tacoma 2003 4x4 with sr5. Only thing I hate is the mpg. I have a part time job and in high school as a sophomore. Should I start to save up for a car (mazda, scion, honda) with much better mpg or just stick with the truck? It gets about 15 mpg. I was looking to get a a car around 5k.
- Which motorcycle should I get for a beginner? I'm planning on buying a motorcycle because I'm turning 16 soon and I need a vehicle to commute to and from school. Which bike is reliable for a starter? Honda CBR 125CC, Yamaha R125, Ninja Kawasaki 250R or other bikes? I'm also in a budget and looking for a bike around $2,000 and will not go over $2500. I'm also 5'11 and 155 LBS.
- What size motorcycle should I get next? So I've had my Honda rebel for about 2 years now and am wanting to move up. First off I'm a very small woman, I'm 5 3" and weigh around 120 lbs. My boyfriend is worried I can't handle a big bike and I'm just looking for someone a bit more knowledgeable on the subject. He doesn't want me to get anything bigger, but I feel I'm ready. Any thoughts?
