What is the best oil for 250 Honda motorcycle? - 1

Fully synthetic to the recommended grade.

Get the owners manual for the bike. These bikes commonly use the old school API SF or API SG, 10W--40 or 20W-40 JASO MA oils. Do not use oils marked "Energy Conserving" or something similar if you find it hard to find the recommended oil.

I would recommend any 4T 10W-40 oil

No

Whatever Honda recommends.

10w40 semi-synthetic if it's a four stroke motorcycle. Rock oil is suitable.

I use Mobil 1 10/40 4T synthetic motorcycle oil. I might switch to Amsoil Metric motorcycle 10/40 oil soon. They both are great oils.

What is in owner manual recommended. In emergency on road- truck stop 15-40 diesel oil, Rotella or Delovac. Good for unitary engines with wet clutchs as speced for tier 2 or earlier diesels.

  • 2006 Honda Pilot oil stick showing low oil? The car has absolutely no obvious leaks and its not burning oil we bought a new stick and changed the oil but yet it's still (stick only) showing as low oil, what could be the issue? Is the stick (bought new one from dealership ) the issue or can it be leaking out somewhere that's not in plain view? I'm taking it to mechanic next week but I'm trying to see if I could get Tips Here first. The car runs perfectly fine, no obvious issues.
  • Best 250 cc two stroke dirt bike for under 2,000? I had a kawasaki kx 125 when I was younger, and now I have a kdx 220r. But I enjoy speed and the kdx is just too slow. I've driven a ktm 200, and it was nice. But I've never gotten on any of the Hondas, or Yamaha's Any suggestions? I know it's gonna be used for that price.
  • Is going from synthetic oil in my '03 HOnda Hybrid to regular oil bad? Over 100K miles, always used synthetic oil. Took the car to my mechanic to have brakes checked, and he thought the oil looked dirty so he drained it and put in regular oil. Now I'm concerned about my engine. Advice please? I do not know what kind of regular oil he put in.
  • Will a oil pressure sensor cause a 1999 honda civic not to crank if oil is low? While I was driving I noticed it wouldn't go any faster while I was going about 60mph but I felt the transmission spinning and the revs were high I then pulled over and put the car in Park and noticed the engine wasn't on Or Is it seized?
