Can i jump start my car without sparkplugs (or improperly installed plugs)?

Heres the story:
Its a 2002 honda odyssey.
While driving the lights saying the doors are open were all on, the battery light and emergency brake light were all on while driving and the car died while moving. Over time it went away(a week). Came back and when i tried to start my car it had a hard time. While on, the electronics (radio, window, power locks etc.) Were fading in n out. I got home and changed the spark plugs being told it was the spark plugs that caused the initial shutoff while driving. Now the car makes a rapid clicking noise when trying to start. A friend mine jump started the car but to no avail. When i have the lights on the car doesn't even click which makes me think its the battery. What worries me is the not jumpstarting part. Anyn ideas?
Please help, my wife is about to go into labor any hour/day now and i really need this fixed.

1. You CAN't jump start a car without spark plugs, they are what cause the car to run (excluding diesels )
2. Poorly installed plugs can cause your car to not start as well… ANY issue with the spark plugs will stop your car from starting

I don't know who told you that you spark plugs were the problem. It sounds like your alternator might be gone. That is what charges the battery while the car is running. Take the car( if you can't remove the battery) to an auto parts store and get it tested for free. Either you need a new battery or a new alternator, possibly both.

No, the engine needs spark plugs to run. There are NO exceptions.

Your problem(s) would seem to have absolutely nothing to do with plugs though. It sounds like an electrical problem. Have your battery, wires, and alternator checked. If they are fine, have an auto parts store check DTC codes via your OBDII port. Address those issues (usually sensors). If you're getting a whole myriad of unrelated codes thrown, you could have a failing ECU.

Sounds like a dead or severely drained battery and possibly a bad alternator or charging system issue as well… May not be recharging the battery properly. Check for any loose or corroded battery cables which can reduce proper power to the starter.

Jump starting does not always work if the jumping car battery is too weak or cables are too thin to provide enough power. Try jumping the car battery again but let the jumping car run for half hour or so with cables properly attached before trying to start… That may recharge the dead car battery enough to allow extra power for starting. If you get it running, then have your battery load tested by a shop or parts store right away before it goes dead again and have the charging system checked out for issues.

Yes, with a motorcycle and a ramp.

Don't ever again listen to your IDIOT friend who told you the spark plugs caused this… As already stated, check the battery and the charging system… Well, have someone do it who knows what they are doing.
