What do i need to 4wd and 5 lug conversion on a honda crx?
What do i need to do this and how much will you guys think i will be spending?
4WD on a CRX alone will cost over $10,000. Replacement engine and transmission, major modification to allow the driveshaft to have correct alignment, plus a full rear-end replacement/rebuild.
Why would you want to do this?
Just bolt two wheels together and install a pair up front like a dually truck.Technically that is four wheel drive.Drill another hole in the wheels and fit a loose stud and nut.Technically that is four to five lugs.Everybody is a character in their own video game.
I think it will be a good idea for a build.
- My 2013 Honda Pilots VTM-4(4WD mode) and Check engine light are on? A few miles latter I restarted the engine again, a few times and only the Check engine light was on. After driving a mile or so I turned off the car and started a couple of minutes later but this time no lights were on. A few miles before those two light went on, it felt like the car kind of jolted a little but I'm not too sure if it was an engine misfire or a pothole.
- I'd like to buy a used Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V or Hyundai Tucson, Am I better off wit 4wd/Awd or 2wd/Fwd? I live in the suburbs of Chicago and want a small SUV because it sits up high. But the question is am I better off getting an AWD/4WD or a FWD/2WD model? I'm tempted on getting a FWD model to save on gas, insurance and slap on some snow tires in the winter. But I've heard that AWD models hold their value better though.
- Lug nut thread on 2008 Honda Civic? I know the correct size should be 12x1.5mm. But does the seat matter? I'm not sure if it's ball, acorn, or mag. I'm putting them on some steel wheels for looks.
- Is it possible that my lug nuts for my 2000 honda accord tight? I recently bought some new steel rims for my car and I tightened them myself when i drive them they seem fine but when the roads are a little bit uneven I can hear something friction like I think… Do you think they are too tight? Bcuz i didn't use a torque wrench
