What should I upgrade first on my car?
I bought my first car a Honda S2000 recently and its completely stock except for an intake. I was wondering what I should do next to it. Rims? Exhaust?
I would do the exhaust because it is a little more fun than rims where you have to get the shop to mount and balance. But if you get rims you could remove and paint the calipers. I would vinyl wrap the top and bottom half for a two tone custom look and match the rims with the two tone colors.
I'd say exhaust and then rims. The exhaust would give it that noise, and then you top it off with nice clean rims
Rims
Don't forget a 5000 watt stereo, fuzzy steering wheel cover and high-perf heater core.
There's no one answer that applies to all people.
The answer for you really depends on why you want to modify the car ( for looks or for actual performance ) and what your budget is.
You have a Honda S2000 which is a rare car and will be even rarer in the future. Honda did not make many of these and IMO you have a car that just very well may be collectible in the future. Modify this car and you will hurt the collectible value greatly. Make sure anything you do can be reversed. Keep any part you remove so you can make it stock again.
If you ever want to sell it again, stick with mods like rims. As soon as you start modifying the powertrain or body, you're decreasing the value of the car as an S2000.
Cars are identified by the year model of production. You gave no data on that. Why "must" you upgrade anything?
