Where can I go to get a Honda Emblem painted?
Do I have to or order a emblem from a website or can I take it somewhere so they can paint it?
It depends… If you want the original chrome Honda emblem then go buy at the dealership. I you just want to paint it, i suggest plasti dip
You can find an OE replacement online and they are cheap. Honda emblems can also be found in many colors.
I don't advise taking it somewhere to be painted and definitely don't go to a dealership, as they will overcharge.
Painting or plasti dipping the emblems is something that can easily be done at home.
- Why does Honda use an english 'H' as the emblem instead of a Japanese 'H'? Hondas were invented in Japan, so it would make sense to use the Japanese letter H. But instead they use the english letter H. Its as if Honda sold out or something. Why do they do this? And do you think that decision to do so is offensive in anyway?
- Honda Civic emblem removal? I have a 2002 Honda Civic Coupe EX and I want to take the emblems off the trunk. My question is if they have those little pegs that are inserted into the trunk or if they're on with adhesive? I'm putting a replacement decal over where the "H" is so if they in with pegs that'll be fine but I also want to get rid of the other emblems too.
