1994 Honda accord sometimes starts and then shuts off while driving?
My 1994 Honda accord starts right up or doesn't start up at all. And when it does start is drives for about half a mile at the most and then my rpms drop to zero. I've replaced the main relay and checked fuses and I have a new battery and battery cables but still just don't even know what's going on with it. Any help is much appreciated
First you should know if it's an ignition or fuel delivery problem. Get some starting fluid and spray it on the air filter when it won't start. If it starts look at your fuel pump relay and switch with relay of same number. If it doesn't start your ignition system needs troubleshooting. Near Beaumont, TX?
You may want to have your ignition switch tested. Another possible problem is that your distributor is down.

I also got the catalytic converter and MAP sensor replaced in my car as well. My dad believes it could be the fuel filter, but we have no clue what it really is.

The O2 sensor has been changed I took off the catalytic converter, I reset the computer and my car still will not run still. I'm not sure where to start looking for another problem. Sometimes my car will start and run for a mile or two and others I can't make it out of my driveway.
