2002 Honda Accord SE won't start after heater hose replaced?

I had a 2002 Honda Accord SE overheat the other day. I fixed fan motor, spark plugs, and I replaced the heater hose. Once I replaced the heater hose I couldn't get the car to start anymore. Does anyone know what I could do next? I'm at a loss…

If you're at loss you're not the only one. You used the verb "Fixed" and "Replaced" How did you fixed the fan motor and the spark plugs? In modern time, most people doesn't do that any more, testing it and replacing failed components.

The fan motor, the spark plugs and the heater hose replacement has nothing to do with the not starting problem on the vehicle. What else did you do to correct the overheating problem? Seem to me that you'll need to focus on this overheating problem. Is the car still overheating? Any test to see if the head gasket need to be replace or anything else could be the cause(s)?

Is the engine still cranking alright? Back to the basic is what you'll need to do: Fuel, Air, Ignition are all that an engine need to run.

Edit: Any code(s). More information into what you have done with the overheating engine or what you've done will help me to help you…

Is it doing anything? Like is it trying to start or is it just dead? Need more details.

Knew a mechanic long ago who would break something as he fixed what I took it in for. Haven't spoken with him in many years.

Can you be more specific please?

  • Why won't my car won't start after putting in gas? I have a 2007 civic, 80,000 miles, about a year old battery. Yesterday after I filled up the gas tank my car wouldn't start. Waited about 1 minute and it started fine. This had happened about 4 months ago (I had it checked at Honda) and they said it was okay. But today I went a short distance (15 minutes from home left the car for about 5) and my car didn't want to start. What could it be?
  • 2005 Honda Civic running hot after replacing the radiator, heater core, and thermostat? Things I've noticed. It running hot is directly tied to me turning the heater and AC on. Usually turning the heater on would cool the engine down, but it makes the temperature spike. I replaced the heater core because it was leaking and I smelled antifreeze when the AC was on. The radiator is brand new. I've straight wired both fans to the battery.
  • My 2000 honda accord won't change gears after i start it? Have a 2000 v6 honda accord car starts fine just won't change gears i need help as soon as possible… What can we limit the problems down to? Brake switch? Transmission? My fluids a little low so if i add some could this solve thr problem?
  • My 1986 Honda Accord won't want to start after trip to mechanic? So I went to the mechanic because my car was hard to start in the morning and I ended up getting a new distributor and a cap. It ran fine and he recommended that I put clear gas in and get fuel injector cleaner. I was full on gas so I waited until I was about 1/4 tank then I filled up with clear gas. It ran well to the gym but when I got out, it took 15 minutes to get it started and it wouldn't idle.
