2008 Honda Accord V6 battery light comes on and off. Battery dies intermittently?

Battery and alternator has been tested at AutoZone and a local mechanic, both times all tested OK. Trying to avoid a dealership. Has anyone experienced this before? Assuming alternator, but local mechanic and autozone tested OK for alternator.

Fuses 5 and 7 are empty in UHB.

Have you checked both fuses #5 (7.5A) and #7 (15A) in the under hood fuse/relay box (UHB)? If the alternator and battery checked out good (Twice) by Auto Zone and a local mechanic then I would say the ELD has failed. The Electric Load Detector (ELD) is a part of the charging system. I do not know why the mechanic missed it. The battery cables, alternator wiring should be checked already and there's no wiring problem. May be because the PCM should have a code store in it for the failed ELD (P1297/P1298)

The Electric Load Detector (ELD) measures the main current flow and sends that signal to the Engine Control Module (PCM) to command the alternator charging system to get fuel efficiency and decrease the drag of the engine when starting.

The ELD has been in Honda vehicle for decades and it's located in the UHB (Under Hood fuse Box). See the video: It's not for 2008 but the location is the same (UHB)

Check cables in area of radiator fan for insulation wear…

Not sure, but I would check for loose battery cable or ground wire. Also check the condition and tension of the belt that drives the alternator. If none of those, maybe the voltage regulator is going bad/intermittent.
