2009 Honda Accord coupe EXL?

Is 8500$ a reasonable price for this car at a carlot? It is a 4 cylinder with 89000 miles on it, clean car fax and 2 owners

1) You can't always trust Carfax reports. They only report insurance claims and dealer-reported repairs. A LOT can slip by them.

2) Two owners only 89,000 is a red flag. Why would the second owner dump it with only 89k on it? If you decide to make an offer, spend $100 or so to get it fully checked out by an independent mechanic

3) It's an ok price, but not a particularly great deal once you add tax. Offer $8,000 tops. In less than a year it will have over 100k on it and you can buy those all day long for well under $7000. Unless they are offering a killer warranty, I'd sooner buy from a private owner, pay no sales tax, and get a 1 owner car with complete maintenance records from day 1.

This car is 9 years old with 89000 miles, it is what I would call and end of life car. $8500 is way to much you should be looking around $2500 max
