Are there other great sedans out there besides Toyota and Honda?

I get so annoyedd because everyone says get a Camry or Accord.

Depends on what you refer to as "great"… Chevy has nice vehicles

Why would a person get annoyed if friends are giving them good advice?

There's nothing wrong with buying products that have the best VALUE. Buy a Ford Fusion. Or a Hyundai Sonata. Then find out for yourself why people keep buying Camrys and Accords.

I'm really happy with my new Subaru Legacy sedan. It gets 32 MPG on regular gas, and has all-wheel drive for winter driving.

The Ford Fusion and Chevy Malibu are in similar size categories and are excellent cars as well. The old assumption that Detroit vehicles were no good is no longer relevant, and the Ford and GM offerings are as good as anything else you might find, while the Honda and Toyota offerings have not improved in like fashion. They're all about on par with each other, now.

Be aware that there are hybrid models of each of these as well, and while they won't displace a Prius or Volt, they are extremely frugal while still being the everyday, no-compromise sedan you are looking for.

  • I have a Honda GSV 190 mower engine with a broken starter rope and stud stuck in starter that I can't remove. Any ideas would be great When removing the nuts holding the recoil starter in place the nut on the front of the starter is stuck. When I try to remove it the whole stud come out of the engine. Leaving the engine cover stuck to the starter preventing me from replacing the rope. I have tried everything I can think of to remove it with no luck. Heres what it looks like. http://www.ereplacementparts.com/bolt-stud-h425mm-p-554740.html
  • Is there other causes for Code P1129, other than the MAP Sensor? I have a 2005 Honda Civic EX and my car has been idling and turning off on the road often. I'm currently not driving the car because of this issue. The OBDII scanner gives me a code of P1129, so I replaced the MAP sensor; however, even after I thought replacing the MAP sensor would fix it, the problem still exists. I need to use my car to get to work nowadays. Is there any other causes for code P1129? Any help is appreciated.
  • Which of these midsize sedans is best as a first car? These are all 2003 models: Honda Accord Nissan Altima Subaru Legacy Toyota Camry Volkswagen Passat I hear the Accord is a very reliable car but I heard that the 2003 models were prone to transmission failures, so they should be avoided. Also, I hear Volkswagens cost a lot to maintain and repair. So, which one would you buy?
