Belt rubbing/bad bearing sound when warm?

1990 honda accord, 5 speed

when the car is cold it won't make any sounds, about 10-20 minutes after starting it and driving around it will start making a noise when its under 2k rpm like either a belt is rubbing something or there's a bad bearing somewhere, i replaced all the belts and its still doing it and it didn't look like any of the old ones were rubbing against anything. This brings me to thinks its a bearing but then if it was a bearing wouldent it be making the bad bearing noise constantly as opposed to only when its warmed up?

when the noise first starts i can push the clutch in about half way and the sound will go away, but after a bit that won't even work

the sound is coming from the timing belt side of the engine

Explain in more detail please.

If you push the clutch in and it goes away it's the throw out bearing for the clutch, will get worse, do clutch at same time, also don't skimp, have the fly wheel resurfaced, clutch will chatter if you don't, goes away kinda, but makes clutch slip quicker(i.e. Need a new clutch sooner)

Its hard to say without listening and looking myself. It could be a bad throwout bearing if its coming from underneath the car at the back of motor. If its coming from the front towards your pullies, then it could just be a squeaking idler pully or belt tensioner.

  • Engine light on, o2 sensor bad, knocing sound from top of engine? Hi, i have honda prelude 98.manual. The problem started with knocing sound from engine for few days! Then all of sudden engine check light comes on! I got engine light checked! It comes o2 sensor bad! Car rpm is really low now touches zero and get back to 200/300 when in neutral
  • Would a bad input shaft bearing noise present during certain rpms while jacked up? My honda civic makes a loud rattle during certain rpms (2000+rpm) in 1st and 2nd gear, it does have a bad isb but the rattle i'm not %100 if it is related to the isb. Should the rattle/grind also be evident if the car is jacked up if it had to do with the isb?
  • My tire rubbing the inside of my fender? I just want to know why. I drive a honda 90 honda civic. The tire profiles are 195 60. Before anyone says it the tires, this only happens to the passenger side of the car and only when I brake. Also when I burn rubber that same side vibrates more than the right side. I know it's a suspension problem I would just like to narrow it down.
  • Is my right rear wheel bearing bad? I have a 2001 Honda civic coupe LX. I was driving yesterday when my right rest tire started making a clicking/clacking noise while driving. As soon as the car starts to move, the noise starts. I researched and I found that it could be my wheel bearing. I jacked the car up, and spun the tire and it made the exact same noise as it did yesterday. Is that the wheel bearing causing the noise?
