Brake light stays on Honda accord 1996?
My son's honda accord (1996), 2.2 liter with cruise control, car brake lights have been staying on for weeks. The brake light switch is connected to the brake lever. Would adjusting the nut on the brake light switch solve the problem: if he changes the spacing between the switch and the brake lever?
Brake Light i would assume ebrake is always on, or low on brake fluid
If the brake lights on the back of the car are on, then there's a problem with the switch. Sometimes there are two of them, since the switches feed the lights, cruise control, ABS, transmission solenoid, etc. Sounds like one of the switches is loose. I can't help you if i can't look at it.

- How to repair a rounded bolt head on rear brake caliper in a tight space? 1996 Honda Accord? I was replacing by brake pads on my 1996 Honda Accord when I noticed the top bolt on the caliper was rounded off. It is a 12mm bolt and there's little to no space to deal with this. I'm not sure how to get it off since it is in such a tight spot with no room to really do much. Any suggestions on how to remove this stubborn thing?
- How to access the high mount brake light wiring on a 2013 Honda Accord? I'm wanting to install a 3rd brake light flasher module on a 2013 Honda Accord Sedan. I installed one on my 1999 Tacoma relatively easily, but I'm having trouble finding the wiring going to the 3rd brake light on this Honda. Anyone know exactly how the wiring is routed and the easiest way to find the main power wire going to the 3rd brake LED lights. All I need to do is spice into that wire and then ground the unit.
