Car doesn't always start first try?
My battery is perfectly fine, tested it at auto zone. And I just had my starter replaced, that hasn't fixed the problem.
I hear a click, my lights, a.c and radio come on just not the engine. I have a 99 Honda accord. My dad's friend thinks it's the starter relay but I don't know, any suggestions?

- Why doesn't my car start when its cold out? I have a Honda civic LX 2001 during cold mornings it doesn't start when its 10-15 Fahrenheit. When i try to start it does crank and seems like its about to start then doesn't. When i attempt to start for the 2nd time it just sounds like a dead battery sound. I don't know if its my battery or alternator
- My car won't start but when I try to start it, it sounds like a power drill? I have a 95 Honda Civic and it does not start it keeps making a noise that sounds like a power drill spinning. I have no idea what it is or could be any more. I've pulled the starter and put in a new one and the starter is still not catching the fly wheel. I have even resorted to charging the battery, checking all fluids (transmission, antifreeze, etc.) and putting in 5 gallons of gas but still nothing, can't pay to get it to a shop. Anything helps thanks.

My car is a 1997 Honda Civic Dx my engine is a d16y7 and my car used to turn on then I did a compression check and they were low and when I put the spark plugs back it didn't want to turn back on BUT it does stutter like its wants to turn on but it can't and it smells like fuel and the spark plugs are wet with fuel and has black fuzzy stuff probably because it tried to turn on I don't know what's up
- Is insurance on 4 dr. Car always cheaper than a 2 dr. Car? I'm 19 and looking at cars. I'm not looking at anything fast. I don't want to end up buying a 2 dr. Geo Metro hatch or Honda Civic to save gas if I have to pay insurance like I drive a sports car! Are 2 door cars always considered 'sports cars' insurance wise?
