Hard to start car when it's hot?

Need some help finding a problem, my 94 Honda Accord 4 cyl runs good until it cuts off for running for a while (happens sometimes) but what really sucks is if I go somewhere over a 30 min drive I turn the car off and it's hard to start again until it's cooled down? Crank sensor maybe?

Most common cause: Main relay (fuel pump relay). It's in the dash.

There are several reasons. Change the air filter that's the easy one. Now the hard ones map sensor fault, barometric pressure sensor fault, intake air temperature sensor fault,. Before you strip any sensors, take the car to the dealer for a diagnostic check it will proberbly cost less in time and money in the long run

  • Does power steering fluid get hot if the car is just running and the steering isn't being used? If the pump is just spinning, recirculating fluid and nothing else… Would it still get hot? I had to bypass the pump from the rack and have the fluid recirculate. Would the pump get hot from just spinning? I know 8th gen Honda's don't have a cooler for the power steering anyways.
  • My car won't start but when I try to start it, it sounds like a power drill? I have a 95 Honda Civic and it does not start it keeps making a noise that sounds like a power drill spinning. I have no idea what it is or could be any more. I've pulled the starter and put in a new one and the starter is still not catching the fly wheel. I have even resorted to charging the battery, checking all fluids (transmission, antifreeze, etc.) and putting in 5 gallons of gas but still nothing, can't pay to get it to a shop. Anything helps thanks.
  • My car keeps running hot! I need immediate My car keeps overheating. I have 2005 Honda Civic Ex. I have changed both thermostats, water pump, head gasket && radiator but it still continues to run hot. My mechanic says I need a new motor but I would only need a new motor if the oil && water are mixing which they aren't. Inside the car the temperature may not say it's running hot but if you look at the hood you'll see steam comin from the BRAND NEW radiator.

I have a 98 honda civic LX my car won't start when its warm weather i have had it tuned up and replaced the ignition coil and distributor still didn't fix problem… When it does start it will cut off after driving a couple feet or if i'm sitting at a stop light what could be the issue?
