Honda Accord problems?

I have a 2015 Honda Accord. Sometimes when I start it up, it makes a weird noise and the lights cut on but not the engine. I have to wait a second and try and it usually works. Sometime my brakes lock up. I went to o Riley and they put it on 2 different machines and said nothing's wrong. Anyone else have this problem? I'm not sure if I'm just moving too fast and clicking the button first and then the brakes or what. Can you press them at the same time or do i apply Brakes first.

I have 2014 Accord and had to replace the starter. Sometimes when id hit the key, it wouldn't do anything. Replaced the starter and it's been working great.

See a mechanic. Really hard to figure out what is wrong with your car.

Try starting in neutral instead of park. If that does the trick, it could be a bad neutral safety switch. Check the floor mats to make sure it didn't slip under the brake pedal keeping you from pushing it down far enough to activate the safety switch. You could try pushing down harder on the brake to see if that makes a difference- that would be a misadjusted or fouled safety switch on the brake pedal. If the weird noise is a rattle sound, that would be when the battery is too low to run the starter, but can still run some lights. Check that with a voltmeter.

If you have a push button start instead of a key you hold the brake pedal down and then press the button to start the motor.
