Honda Acorrd Sport vs Nissan Altima?

I'm looking into buying a new car it will be my first car I buy from a dealer. I really like the Accord Sport and it's a 4 cylinder and the Altima is the same 4 Cylinder. Price wise I know the accord is more expensive by 3 more thousand. But I want opinions which car would be great for me I'm a college student I do work I make enough money to pay for it.

OK as a bias Honda owner (have been for many years) I would go for the Honda because they are great and last well.

You can't go wrong with Honda, so I would recommend you to by an Accord model. Silky smooth performance, technologically advanced options, and a sleek, aerodynamic body-on-frame design makes Accord one of the most desirable cars in the world. It can perfectly function as a family car and in a same time it is always ready to rock out. Extremely reliable and fun to drive. Add a legendary Honda's reliability to all the features mentioned above and you'll see that this model ticks all the boxes for you. Honda Acorrd Sport vs Nissan Altima - 1

You can knock off $2K of that difference by getting an Accord LX. It has all of the necessities and actually rides a little better than the Sport because it comes with 16" tires.

Depending on where you live, Honda is actually offering $1500 dealer cash plus special financing on the 2015 Accords right now. If they aren't telling you about it, you need to ask. Some dealers will try to keep this as pure profit if they can.

  • I just bought a 2011 Nissan Altima 2.5s with 160,000 miles on it? I just bought this car two days ago, it looks and drives perfect. I know that is a lot of miles but as long as the rental company kept up with maintenance it should have many more miles on it. Can I put another 50k-100k more miles on it in the future? Are Nissan Altima's up to par with Honda/Toyota?

  • Can a 2015 honda civic keep up with a nissan altima? Lets say both drivers where two on the freeway, one guy driving a 2015 honda civic and the other one driving a 1998 altima. The driver of the 1998 altima is speeding around 100-105 mph @3500 rpms only. My question is could a honda civic keep up with the old altimas performance? I'm asking bc since the civic isn't in the same class as the altima, i'm wondering how the new civic would do aganisnt the old altima. The altima itself in great mechanical condtion.
