How come does it take my 2000 honda accord lx 4cyl 2.3L 4dr $45 dollars to fill it up with gas?
I'm wondering because i have 2 friends who own v6 cars and they say that they put almost $36 dollars to fill up their cars with gas. Shouldn't it take more than $45 dollars for the v6 to fuel them up and less than $40 dollars for 4cyl cars to fill them up. Maybe i should get my self a v6 intstead of having my 4cyl
Help us out a bit here, drag out the receipt and give us the numbers. Maybe you are filling up when the tank is almost empty and your 2 friends are filling up at 1/2 tank. Not to mention differences in tank capacity model to model…
The fuel capacity of the 2000 accord is 17.1 gallons. At $45, that works out to $2.63/gallon. Sounds like a good deal actually. You must also take into account how much gas is already in the tank for each car.
- Honda Jazz won't take water in the water fill cap? I recently purchased a Honda jazz 2005 mode from a garage, top condition. I'm going on a long journey tomorrow and routinely like I would with any car I checked the water and oil levels. (cold engine). Water level was halfway between min and max so I attempted to top it up with coolant mix, however, as in poured the h20/coolant mixture into the water tank it just came straight back up as though the tank was full, although I can see it's only half full. Any ideas?
- Is it a good deal to buy a Honda Civic 2002 with 219 miles for 2000 dollars? A guy is selling me a 2002 Honda Civic with 219000 but I don't know, I consider that way to much miles. I need an opinion, what you guys think?
- Replacing my starter costs 641 dollars for Honda Accord? Basically asking if I got ripped off. I went to go pick up my car today and got with the ridiculous price of 641 dollars for a new starter/installation. They apparently charged me 280 dollars for the part and then they charged me 289 dollars for labor. Now I'm no master mechanic but I know for a fact a certified mechanic can change out a starter in less than 2 hours. I really feel like this price is unjustified. Anyone with insight? The car is an 01 accord lx
