The fuel pump in your car is located inside the gas tank. It would take a SKILLED and EXPERIENCED mechanic several hours to change it.

As other post said, this is tough job. It is not that it is complicated, but you have to safely get the vehicle elevated, working with a gas tank is dangerous due to it being filled with gas and gas fumes.
Bolts, clips, etc. Will be rusted frozen and most likely will break when trying to take off. You need to have extra bolts and most likely tank straps, and I would replace any vent hoses on the filler neck and other hoses while you have the thing down.
Then if tank is filled with sediment it has to be cleaned, and it may need to be replaced.
The idea being the part does not cost much compared to the labor, and if the take is rusty and starts leaking in 6 months you have pay for the same labor costs a second time.

Pay a mechanic to do it. You are working with fuel here.

Removing the back seat to get to the mount bolts to drop the gas tank? A long time. Why do you think the fuel pump needs changed? Did you test the relay?

Watch a youtube video that shows how it is done. Then you'll know if it's hard for YOU to do!

Hi so this will depend on which fuel pump as the car has two the lifting pump which is inn the fuel tank and the high pressure one which you should not be messing with.
