Most belts will last at least 5 years and 50,000 miles (rough guess, most will last even longer). Having ONE belt that fails before that could just be a defective belt, but having 5 of them fail in a year means something else is wrong. Is one of the pulley's seized up and the belt rubbing across it? Is the belt adjusted too tight or possibly too loose causing slippage? Is one of the devices misaligned?
- I have just changed the battery in my honda cbr1000rr after one month and it not firing up? It a honda cbr1000rr 2008 model. The bike's battery has been dead for more then a month… And it was parked in the sun for two months. The battery is good now but the bike won't start. It just keeps trying but it doesn't.
- I was looking at q a 2003 Honda 750 ACE because it has low miles. But I was wondering about what I should look at because of that? It's 14 years old and only has 1,900 miles on it. That means it's more than likely been sitting a while. I haven't messaged the person about it yet but I was just wondering what I should look for if I did go and look at the bike? Any suggestions?
- I've financed a car and put 1,000 down, it's been 2 days and the dealer still Looking a for a bank but I've been approved already? So I've put 1,000 down for my car at Honda and everyday passes but still same response from the dealer "still working on a approval" but they have my deposit and they already approved me. Is this even legal, Can they hold my deposit and not give me the car. Would I lose my deposit if I'm not approved?
- I have a 2000 Honda Civic with 140,000 miles on it. Do you think the timing belt has been changed? I read somewhere that they are supposed to be changed at 105,000 miles, or seven years. My car has a lot more miles than that, and twice the age. Do you think the belt has been changed before? Or is it possible it's the original belt? Would the original have lasted this long?
