I have a 94 honda accord dx and know my clutch is sticking its not leaking or anything and its hard to shift?

Define hard to shift? Is the stick difficult to move or do you grind gears trying to shift.
If the latter get your clutch hydraulics fixed
If the former it could be shift linkage bushings.

  • 1982 honda nighthawk 450 front brakes sticking? I drive it regularly to school but I went on a three day weekend and this morning everything went fine on the commute but then later in the day the front brake stuck but when i wanted to go home it worked. What is my possible problems, so I can find out how to fix it on youtube? Is it unwise to keep riding as long as the brakes are not currently sticking? This has only happened this once and I have ridden it a couple thousand miles sense i bought it this spring.
  • Gear shift on automatic is hard to move? I have a 1994 honda civic that my dad's best friend just sold to us. He said he replaced the transmission with a newer one. But recently on startup, it was hard to move the gear stick from park to drive. I needed to wiggle it a bit and I floored the brake to make sure it would change gear. What is the problem? How can I fix it and how much will it cost?
  • 97 Honda Civic, new clutch and pressure plate but won't come out of gear and clutch pedal won't release? The clutch feels backwards now, won't switch gears unless the car is off and the pedal is all the way up. When you start it in gear it will not come out of said gear unless you turn the car off. The clutch pedal will get stuck down and the car will roll in whatever gear you put it in, when putting the clutch pedal down is supposed to release the clutch… It does not
  • My car was really hard to put in gear and when it worked their is a squealing sound when i press the clutch? It drives and shifts fine but has this squealing when i press in the clutch. When it gets past 1500rpm the squeak stops until it drops back to 1000rpm or to 500rpm. Is the transmission shot or bad clutch? Also was some smoke rising from the engine and is a smell i'm guessing the clutch plates are constantly slipping or they are not retracting correctly when the clutch is pressed. 1994 honda accord ex my problem car.
