If I remove my wheel locks (without the key) is it possible I can replace them with locks that don't need a key?

I'm gonna take my '06 Honda Accord to the shop first thing in the morning and I want to get these wheel locks removed so I don't have to worry about the headache of trying to get them off in case of a flat tire since I don't have a key. If I ask the shop to remove the wheel locks, is it possible I can just get another set that doesn't require the lock-keys?

The wheel lock is just replaced by a regular lug nut. That is all that needs to be done. They will charge you for four lug nuts for all four wheels. You can ask to install new wheel locks. It will come with a new key.

Wheel locks without a key aren't wheel locks dumbass. The point is to have something that a common thief can't remove easily.

If you don't need a key then it isn't a lock.

No, but you can buy a new set of locks that HAS a key, and keep the key in the car for when it's needed.

If the lug nuts don't have a lock key they are not locking lug nuts or going to protect the wheel from being stolen.
Just go to the dealer and buy a new key for the locks you have.

Yes you can
