Is insuring a honda accord coupe going to be cheaper than say actual sports cars like camaro mustang etc?
Added (1). I'm 17 getting my license and getting a first car my parents are toyota and honda fans because of their reliability they're safety, cheap and i like coupes and came down to a 2011 honda accord coupe v6(dual exhaust)for a ridiculously good price because someone locally needs to get rid of it for a bigger family car however before the honda i wanted the scion frs and insurance was going to be about 3-400 for me a month! Too much so my mom said go with honda coupe they'll be cheaper to insure
Your mom is right. Sports cars and "sporty" coupes will always cost more to insure than a more sensible car, especially for teen guys. Why? Because teen guys have accidents in them more often. Even if you are the most careful, best 17 year old driver in the world, you still have to pay high insurance rates because of the sins of your less-careful compadres. Insurance companies assume you are just like them.
Don't assume. Call your insurance company and get quotes. The quotes are free.
Yes, but it will still expensive as a general rule because of your age.
Yes. Besides your age they will give a surcharge because they consider them "sports cars".
4 doors are almost always cheaper than 2 door cars. For insurance I mean.
Yes. I had an Accord Coupe for a long time. Insurance was a bit more than on the sedan but considerably less than most sports cars and far less than what my insurance company has apparently deemed high risk cars (basically anything sporty that's popular with younger drivers, like the Acura RSX and Subaru WRX).
Edit - But call/e-mail for a quote first before you buy.
- Which motorcycle this is? (ex. Honda, kawasaki, yamaha, etc.) And series as well (ex. Cbr, ninja, etc.)? Thank you very much! The reason I'm asking is because it is not physically in my possession… Otherwise I obviously would have checked the bike itself.
- How many miles per gallon does a motorcycle give? Much cheaper than a car? Some idio actually said a while back that a motorcycle doesn't really give that many more miles per gallon than a car! This honda Rebel gives 84 miles per gallon! http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/...l-250.aspx And an msrp of only $4000 makes it a steal! Plus the legendary reliability of a honda!
- Honda vs Yamaha vs Kawasaki vs Suzuki vs Ducati, BMW, etc etc etc? I'm a total bike noob, but I'm in the market for a nice used sports bike. I have friends who own the Yamaha R1 and Kawasaki Ninja and I think those bikes are pretty sweet. Any idea which ones are best in terms of reliability, parts, power, speed, stylings, resale value, etc?
- Is it weird to wear cloth brands like versace, gucci etc and drive a car around 70k-150k range? I know wearing those brand and driving like a honda, toyota etc would look weird, but is cars like mercedes, bmw ok? Or does it have to be something higher like maserati, ferrari, lambo, aston etc?
