Is it possible to swap a Vtech Engine into a non-vtech 2000 Honda Accord?

I need a new engine and I found a good decent priced 2001 Honda Accord Vtech engine for sale. I was wondering if it would work with my 2000 Honda Accord NON Vtech car?

Yes, a lot of people do it
You need a VTEC ECU or an rpm activated switch so the VTEC will work, and you need to wire up the VTEC solenoid, and VTEC pressure if you use the VTEC ECU. The distributors are also different on the VTEC and non VTEC model

Yes it will. You just need the VTEC ECU. However, if you purchase the VTEC engine completely. You just have to mount them and good to go. Make sure it comes from a manual to manual. Or auto to auto. Otherwise its a headache.

Yes, circumstances vary from car/vtec engines. I recommend using all honda oem parts.
