Can i use a car loan from my credit union to pay off the dealership?

I purchased a new honda accord and decided to finance through the dealership, I had already been pre-approved for an auto loan by my credit union at a slightly lower APR. Can I use my check from the credit union to pay off the dealership? I mostly accepted to finance through Honda because they offered me a $500 rebate.

2003 honda accord Transmission?

I have a 2003 honda accord lx. Transmission knocks pretty hard when shifting into drive First thing in the morning or after my car has sat for awhile, 8 or more hours. It only happens once. If I put it back into park then shift it back to drive it won't happen again. I'll be good for the rest of the day as long as my car isn't sitting for long time, 8 hours or so.

Is there any way I can get Honda to replace this part for free?

A few days ago my 99 Honda Accord stalled in the middle of traffic. It was a good thing I wasn't on the highway or I probably would've gotten in an accident. Anyway, I took it to a mechanic and he said the car's ignition switch was bad and needed to be replaced. He told me that Honda recalled that part in 2002, so I should take it to a dealer and have it done by them for free. I called a Honda dealer and the guy asked me for my VIN so I gave it to him and he said my car was definitely one that had the recalled part so I should bring it in. I brought the car and the mechanics checked everything else too. Then they called and said my particular car was made in a different country than the ones with the recalled part, so it wasn't a part of the recall. Even though it's the same year and model. Then they gave a list of $1,500 worth of other things wrong with the car. One of which was that they said I need 4 new tires, but that's a lie because I just had them all replaced last week. So should I call some other dealers and see what they say? I'm thinking of contacting their corporate office too. Shouldn't they replace this part for free?

Is it possible to swap gauge clusters between cars?

I know that people have can swap them from other models of the same car but is it possible to swap them between manufactures? For example could I swap a cluster from a Honda Accord into a Nissan Altima?

Detailed process on buying a used car? Never owned one before?

I want a 2009 Honda Accord Coupe Ex-L V6 with navigation. I've been looking online in where I live (NY area) The range of prices I've seen goes from $13,000 - $20,000. What I don't know is what is the process on buying a used car with those prices and what APR even is. I also don't have a credit card yet only debit card. I'm 19, live at home with parents. The key part to my purchase is that there's a strong chance either my parents will buy it for me or together we will go half and half on the buying. Since I have a job. There's no way I'm buying this car with my money alone, that's just how my parents are. They want me to save as much as I can for future needs when I live my own life. So back on topic, to be on the more reality side. Let's say me and my parents go half and half on this car. How much money will I have to spend my half on for this car? Remember I wish to know how much I need to save for this baby. If this helps, my parents also clarified to me that they will pay for any repairs, maintenance, etc. All I have to pay for is gas, and personal needs for the car like new rims or whatever if I ever should do so.

Does my car have serious transmission problems?

I bought an early 2000's Honda accord with a 6 speed manual transmission as my first car, and so far it feels as if the car is cursed. In the two years that I have owned it.

After having it for two years, it still doesn't drive smoothly (no matter how hard you try). I really do not see how it can be my fault as the driver when I have been driving this stupid thing for two years. My dad (who has driven manual cars all of his life) can't get it to drive correctly either.

First gear is not a problem in this car, but shifting into second will usually cause you to be slammed foreword in your seat unless to let off the clutch as am absurdly slow rate. The other gears are better, but not as smooth as they should be.

Should I get rid of this thing?
