I just installed two 12' pioneer subs in my 2014 honda accord. The subs are working off of the back two speakers. I have the remote cable folded over the accessory fuse so the amp turns on and off when I turn the car on. Whenever I have all the doors closed and the radio is on the subs produce a solid bass line while a song is playing but whenever I press the gas pedal or open one of the doors the bass line stops.
So my mom recently gave me a 2001 honda accord ex 2001 coupe i'm 17 i just got my license, i'm from california, she has allstate, she said she didn't wanna put my name because it would be expensive, is it better if she just adds the car to her plan and just gets liability, will that cover me if i ever get pulled over or hit? Sorry i'm new to the insurance stuff lol
Recently purchased the vehicle. I mainly drive it to the market and nearby places and I noticed that the MPG display on the dash reads anywhere 8-15 mpg. I'm really bummed if this is what I'm getting because I purchased this car to get good mileage. Please do help!

Today, I found a solid and straight tear at the top of my tire. I can see the little metal pieces that connects the rubber of the tire together. I'm not sure if I need it replaced or if that can be repaired for cheap somehow. I drive a 96 Honda Accord, any ideas on how much it would be to have it replaced or if possible, repaired?
Okay so i'm thinking of buying a used car anywhere between $14,000-$19,000. I want a car that will last, since i'm in college at the moment. I;ve been looking at Lexus (IS or ES what's the main difference between the two btw) , Mazda 6 or a Honda accord. My parents have an Accord and it very reliable but they've always had Honda cars so i don't know about the rest. I've heard that Mazda cars are reliable and look like nice. As for the Lexus I know they are luxurious but what about being reliable.
I have a 2001 Honda Accord EX and I recently noticed that my small lights (dash and tail lights) wouldn't turn on when I started my car. My headlights, blinkers, brakes and caution lights work fine, just not the dash illumination and my tail lights. I replaced the fuse and it burnt out so I know it's not the fuse (though I wish it were only that simple of a fix). I wanna take it to a shop to have it looked at, but does anyone know how much something like that would normally cost?
Ok so I'm a 19 year old guy, in school for real estate and business and I have a 2004 honda accord with about 130,000 miles on it, a bunch of problems and a broken bumper. I'm the 5th owner of the car and I'm wondering if I should try to afford a new one or if I should pay to fix this one. I'm a restaurant server and I make about $325 a week in tips. The car I'm looking to lease is going to be $160 a month and the dealer offers free maintenance for the time of the lease. I don't know if I want that commitment though or if I can afford it and still have money to live off of. Any opinions?
I have a 2000 Honda Accord SE Sedan 4 cylinder. I would like to know if anybody knows what appropriate gas I should be putting. I only go to Chevron and have put in Plus before. So Regular, Plus, or Premium for this car?

Added (2). I'm not sure about the timing belt but the water pump was replaced right before I got the car 3 years ago. I do regular oil changes and nothing has ever been mentioned to me about it burning oil. Tires are old
