How Much Can I Afford On A Car?

Graduated school a year ago and I still live with my folks and plan on doing so for the next 5 years

I earn about $3000/mo.

My bills add up to $854/mo. Which includes student loans, car insurance, electric, phone, etc.

I have an 03 honda accord at the moment but it's in poor shape and I'm tired of putting more and more money into it.

Was wondering if a $14k-$17k car is feasible or not

Is 330k miles for a 2005 Honda Accord?

Looking to buy a new car, I know Hondas are pretty reliable but is a car with that many miles worth it? For 2300?

Added (1). is 330k miles too high for a 2005 Honda Accord

Why do most people say leasing is bad?

I was telling my mechanic that I wanted a 2019 Honda Accord 2.0T, and he said that I should lease it for 3 years and thats it because financing and keeping the car past 60 000 km is a dumb idea.

I really do not want to have a car that has problems, but the Accord seems to be a real good car. He was saying he has had Chevy, Audi, and Volkswagen cars with 2 Litre turbos and they all blew up after 80 000 KM, he says those are not cars you keep, and you should lease them.

He also told me that if I have a stable job (which I do) then you can always lease, he was saying "if you don't think you will be at your job in the next few years, then finance your car".

Which car would be best for work?

I currently have a 2015 Hyundai Accent. I recently transferred to a new work location that is 15-20mins from my house. When driving on the freeway, there's a incline going up, and it's really steep going down. I put in gas Thursday, and I'm already below half a tank!

I was contemplating whether or not to get a new 2019 accord hybrid or accord sport. I never driven a Honda or had one before so I don't know how well they do in gas.

Any info from current Honda drivers would be great. (I say Honda cause I want a Honda lol)

Which is faster a naturally aspirated V6 or a 4 cylinder Turbo?

I have prices on good sedans such as the Maxima, TLX, and Chrysler 200S 2017

they are V6 and have at least 290-300 horsepower.

But my friend was telling me the Mazda 6, Honda Accord, Civic Type R Audi A4 are 4 cylinder Turbo's and are much faster than the V6. Is it true? Can it reach 0-60 in a matter of seconds? Will it be able to tow heavier stuff? Will my car slow down if I have obese passengers?

Car supposedly has an AUX option but I can't find input?

I have a 2006 Honda Accord Sedan. On my radio it has "CD/AUX" and under that is has the XM for Sirius XM. If there's an auxiliary option, where is it? And if it doesn't have one then I will just buy an FM transmitter or something.

How do I get rid of P0420 Code for honda accord 2010?

I have had a check engine light for a few days now and when i plugged in a code reader, P0420 came up and i looked up how much it would cost to fix it and it is over a thousand dollars (money i do not have). I looked up a video on youtube by scotty kilmer and he said to put 1 gallon of lacquer thinner in the gas tank when it is half full and drive it at high speeds to clean it. Will this fix my cars problem? I do not want to replace the catalytic converter so what would happen if i ignore the light?

Are my friends headlights too bright if he has been flashed 3 times already?

Recently he got a 2018 Honda Civic Touring.

He did not do any mods everything is stock, but since he got the Touring he got the LED headlights instead of the halogens because halogens are cheap he wanted the more expensive version.

I noticed even on new Honda Accord's the headlights are similar. It is one LED bulb with a bunch of reflectors, isn't that bad?

Why didn't Honda use projectors to control the light? He doesn't really get flashed that often only maybe because he probably hit a pot hole which raised his car and possibly made it look brighter than what it is. He has not been pulled over
