Should I get a 2016 Honda Accord or BMW 3 Series?
I'm in the market for a new car and currently have a 2007 Toyota Corolla. I wanted to get a luxury car but they appear to be too expensive so I was looking at the 2016 Honda Accord. Is this a good car? Or should I get a pre owned mercedes or BMW? Or should I lease a luxury car? My limit is $30,000 for a car and preferably no more than 400 for monthly payments. Any other recommendations for cars?
Honda is reliable and everyday car. BMW/Mercedes are very nice but breaks down often and parts/labor are expensive. I personally own Audi. Love that car, rides nice, but it has problems.expensive problems. My next car would be a Honda. Maybe consider Acura.
I wouldn't recommend a 2nd hand BMW, I work on a lot of them and they will cost a lot more to maintain and tend to have more issues (I see a lot that people have really scrimped to buy and then can't afford to run it and kill it). An Accord is a pretty decent car. I can't say I have come across any real inherent problems with them. In all honesty a 2007 Corolla is a pretty reasonable car (yeah not so many features nor as plush as the Accord and others) but they are bullet-proof reliable.
Go for the top of the line Accord. The 3 series BWM will simply be too expensive to repair, service and maintain.
Would recommend 1980s pickup truck. Chix love pickup trucks you can pick up a truckload in one go
Honda
Your current car has 20+ years left. Keep it.
The more expensive a car was when it was new, the more it will cost you to maintain it when it is used. Expensive European luxury cars are probably the worst used car to buy. They require a lot of maintenance and the cost of that maintenance is high.
Honda
Honda Accord
If you buy a fully loaded one it will have all the bells and whistles that you will find in the 3 series, without the expensive maintenance and repairs
The high end Honda models have most if not all of the luxury features of a BMW or Mercedes, at a fraction of the cost. These days, the term "luxury car" is only in name, not in features. So, if the name is important to you, buy the BMW or Mercedes, but if you want the luxury features of a BMW or Mercedes, buy the Honda.
- I'm thinking about doing an engine swap. B series vtech or K series vtech? I have a 2000 honda ek coupe with a d series vtech, but I'm looking to upgrade the power without the use of forced induction. My best bet is an engine swap but I'm still deciding between a b20 vtech or a k20 vtech. Which one would give me more power and what parts will I need?
- 2016 MINI Cooper Hardtop 4 Door or 2016 Honda Fit for first car? I love cute and comfy. Mostly just to get to and from work at Disney, but I'm also a big traveler so would love something comfy and cozy that sort of resembles my personality (I know- I'm cheesy) I know nothing about cars and this will be my first! I'm 19 and have waited to get my license for way too long so I'm working on it in Driving 101 and should take the test next month!
- Should I get a 2016 Honda CR-V EX AWD or a 2016 Subaru Crosstrek 2.1i Limited? I'm trying to decide between the two. They are both the same price at my dealers. I'm probably going to end up moving to Colorado but I don't think I will go off road at all. Which of these is the better car? Which do you think will last longer?
- Which car is better, the 2016 Honda Civic EX-T or the 2016 Mazda 6 i sport? I'm getting a new car next month, and my choices have been cut down to these two cars. I'm having difficulty deciding. Which one is better? Please list spec differences (exterior and interior) as well as the reasoning behind your decision.
