Right side of my 1994 Honda accord hood doesn't shut all the way?
The left side closes perfectly but the right side seems to not want to close all the way even after spraying Wd40 on the latch, mechanical help please.
First, check to see if anything is preventing it from closing, such as a tool or debris. Next check the hinge area and make sure it is not damaged. Also check to see if the hood is warped as sometimes we get in a hurry and do not take enough time to notice the obvious.
Let me guess, the right side is where the hood prop goes? Is the hood creased from trying to close w/ prop still in place? If so, can TRY removing hood, put on sawhorses, and bend back straight.
- What's the part called on the upper right side? The square next to the grey? This is a Honda insight I'm missing a part of the bumper and I have no idea what the name of it is. I've looked on numerous websites and I still don't know what it is.
- Why is my 2015 Honda Civic moving side to side when I drive? When I drive 50+, I feel my car shifting side to side just a little bit. Is it because the lug nuts are not tightly screwed on?
- Right Headlight went out. I replaced both with 6k hid lights. Hid kit components are all brand new. Right headlight still didn't turn on? It's 91 Honda Civic sedan. Every other light works except that one headlight that isn't turning on as if it wasn't getting any current or something. High beams don't turn it on either.
- My car leaks anti leak sprayed all over hood of car and everywhere dripped on floor? Pretty sure it's anti freeze cause my stepdad is a mechanic and changed the thermostat and I guess that wasn't the problem but it leaked when I got to my friends house parked it I could see the vapor of it coming from my hood I opened it and it was sprayed all over the place I checked under and there was good 1/2 liter of it on the floor how bad could it be its a 2002 Honda civic coupe
