Transmission Sensors?

Every time I wash my car the transmission sensors begin to fail. Why could this be? Honda Accord 2010.

Do you like eat azz?

Are you washing the engine too? Do not wash the engine.

Tranny sensors? The only thing that you might be getting wet and causing problems is if you open the hood and spray down the engine compartment which would get the range switch wet. There may also be external solenoids on the transmission that are getting wet harness connectors.

If you're cleaning the engine then you're getting water in between the sensors and wiring harness giving you the problem. Time to stop spending the time washing the engine and transmission especially with a pressure washer. You'll just keep having this problem. No way around it will eventually you will rust out the connections and make matters worse as in replacing sensors and wiring

Hi so given it is an 8 years old car what do you expect a new car.
