What are the Consequences of going above the speed limit?
Today while i was driving my friend 2004 honda accord v6 car that he lent to me after me other car got finished off, i decieded to go on the highway for fun in the morning bc of no traffic.
BC of that, i decided to go as fast as i can(gradually) to the point that i ended up doing 120-125 mph. Before i was able to go even faster i got pullled over by a state trooper. When i got pulled over by a state trooper he told me how my license will get suspended and all that stuff and that i was way over the speed limit of 70 mph. Is there anything that could happen to me besides having points on my license?
Added (1). the reason I'm asking is bci mean i don't understand this when there was hardly ANY TRAFFIC. If there wasn't anyone, who else would i be harming at 6am, besides 18 wheelers?
Added (2). i was just CRUSIN the STREETS and i get pulled over.
Added (3). Also when they told me to step out of the car, i accidentally fell bc my sweats where sagging and they ask me if I'm drugs.

Points? Your license will be suspended, that means no licence. Get a traffic court lawyer, in the phone book with all of the other lawyers. It may cost a couple hundred, but you can keep your license. Your lucky to be alive, one slip and they would have buried you in a sponge.
A large fine, loss of licence are likely results.
Many places, 30 mph over the limit is automatic ban for 1 year
let alone other charges of reckless / careless etc driving.
The legal limit in a street maybe 20/30/40 mph
does not matter if it is 3 am or 3pm it is the limit…
It may be an empty highway… But it still has a legal limit
and if you did lose control, someone has pick up the pieces and clear up the fire / crash / oil mess etc etc
so if you want to do 120, do it on a private hire race track.
not the public streets (which do not have surfaces designed for 120!)
The 2004 Honda accord does not go up to 120 an hour. The Speed governer kicks in at 110. You're lying.
You think going 125 is just no big deal. And that's why you should lose your license.
- What are some good cars that either already have mods or are just sporty in general? Nothing above 5k? And yes i have look at all the sporty hondas and i like them, but i want a V6 casue their faster than V4s stock. but yeah like give me some websites or car names to look up on craigslist.
- I can't go above gear 4 in honda CBF 125 2012? I bought a second hand HOnda CBF124 2012 model two weeks ago. I though these bikes had six gears? I sped up to 45 and gear four is max i could go to. I can't shift the gear lever after that. Why do you think i'm having this problem?> Yes, I know But mine is like 1 up and only 3 up… Can't go any more than that I mean 1 down and 3 up Okay thanks. How much would it cost to get checked and fixed?
- Arkansas motorcycle engine size restrictions for age limit? I'm about to turn 16 and am thinking about getting a motorcycle. It says an MD license is for riders 14-16 and restricts them from having a bike with an engine greater than 250cc. Well the M class license allows for I bigger bike for ages 16+. Am I legible for the M class? Do I need to take certain classes/test to get M class instead of MD class license? I'm wanting the new Honda CRF300 ABS. I really need to know everything and the websites I find don't help.
- Honda owners: is there a difference in top speed between 4 speed and 5 speed element? My car is an 03 auto awd ex. I'm just curious, what top speed before drag effect comes into Affect? Can it achieve over 100 mph? I've heard that it can do 1-10 but I'm not sure whether that's for the 5 speed or the automatic bc the extra gear makes a difference in my opinion.
